GD-606 Cable Oil Synthetic is designed
for cable lubrication, mainly for cables of automobiles, trucks, boats, motorcycles,
ATVs and bicycles.
- Benefits

There is a close tolerance at the point of entry where the
wire is in the sheath that calls for a low viscosity oil. The oil
must not evaporate and it must resist the effects of humidity and water.
GD-606 Cable Oil Synthetic is a pure
synthetic hydrocarbon, commonly called "synthetic oil" (Groups IV & V).
A synthetic oil has a higher tolerance for heat than does a mineral oil
and it oxides and evaporates at a slower rate; it has better film forming
and retention capability. We do not use a blend of mineral oil and synthetic
oil, and we do not use hydroprocessed mineral oil.
GD-606 is compatible with elastomers
(seals, o-rings, and the like).
- The oil has an additive to reduce wear.
- The oil is clear. (Guard Dog specializes in moly oils, but moly stains cloth.)
- The oil has inhibitors to reduce evaporation and rust.
- The oil is medium viscosity, making it a multi-purpose oil.
- How To Use

The bottle is shipped with a cap and a spout. Replace the cap with the spout.
Gently squeeze the bottle to drop oil on the part requiring lubrication.

- Warranty and Safety

Guard Dog Moly Lubricants, Inc. warrants GD-606 to conform to
published typical observations. GD-606 is safe to use when normal precautions are taken,
as with any petroleum product. A Material Safety Data Sheet is available
upon request.
