GD-470 Moly Treatment for SAE 20W-50 Engine Oil is
a treatment formulated specifically for SAE 20W-50 engine oil, including
synthetic engine oils. Examples are motorcycles, automobiles,
trucks, and other internal combustion, 4-stroke engines calling for an SAE
20W-50 grade. Not recommended for motorcycle
engines that combine crankcase and transmission oils.

GD-470 Moly Treatment for SAE 20W-50 Engine Oil
imparts the benefits of moly into plain engine oil.
Moly lowers friction and wear by reducing metal-to-metal contact.
The way moly works is especially beneficial in the prevention of "dry starts",
where most of wear in cylinders takes place. Lower friction and wear provides
many benefits in engine oil:
- helps to improve gas mileage to save money,
- helps to increase horsepower to provide better acceleration, and
- helps to lower operating temperature of the engine to reduce heat stress on parts.

- Typical Observations

GD-470 Moly Treatment for SAE 20W-50 Engine Oil
is a proprietary formula of molybdenum compounds and other chemicals in an
SAE 20W-50 weight engine oil. Particle size range of the moly is 0.1 - 1.0
microns (median 0.8). GD-470 does not contain solvents or chlorinated paraffins.
- How To Use

For a 4 to 5 quart capacity crankcase, replace 8 oz. of plain oil with
8 oz. of GD-470. To treat 1 quart, replace 4 oz. of plain oil with 4 oz.
of GD-470Q.

Guard Dog Moly Lubricants, Inc. warrants GD-470 to conform to
published typical observations. Containers have a tamper-proof/child
resistant cap. GD-470 is safe to use when normal precautions are taken,
as with any petroleum product. A Material Safety Data Sheet is available
