GD-452 Moly Treatment for Synthetic Engine Oils is a
multipurpose treatment for all grades of synthetic oils, for gasoline internal combustion
engines. Examples are automobiles, trucks, generators, industrial machinery, boats,
lawn mowers, and motorcycles. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MOTORCYCLE ENGINES THAT COMBINE
CRANKCASE AND TRANSMISSION OILS.

GD-452 Moly Treatment for Synthetic Engine Oils is a
synthetic hydrocarbon formulation (Synthetic Base Stocks Groups IV and V). It is not a
hydro-processed mineral oil, and it is not a blend of mineral oil and hydro-processed mineral
oil. A synthetic oil includes longer operating lifetimes, wider operating temperature ranges,
better lubricity, lower volatility, better low temperature fluidity, improved thermal and
oxidative stability, retention of its specified viscosity better at high-temperatures, and
better hydrolytic stability. GD-452 is compatible with elastomers.
Molybdenum is a chemical with a low coefficient of friction and an affinity for steel. The moly
decreases friction of the two counter-moving sliding surfaces of gear teeth by filling in microscopic
pores of the metal surfaces and plating out over the surface. Guard Dog lessens metal-to-metal
contact to reduce friction and wear. The moly will not settle out, and it will flow through
all standard filters. The way moly works is especially beneficial in the prevention of
"dry starts," where most of wear in cylinders takes place. Lower friction and wear provide
many benefits in engine oil:
- helps to improve gas mileage to save money,
- helps to increase horsepower to provide better acceleration, and
- helps to lower operating temperature of the engine to reduce heat stress on parts.

- Typical Observations

GD-452 Moly Treatment for Synthetic Engine Oils is a
proprietary formula of molybdenum compounds and SAE 15W-50 synthetic oil.
GD-452 does not contain solvents or chlorinated paraffins.
- How To Use
-
For 4-5 quarts of plain oil, replace 8 oz. of oil with 8 oz. of GD-452.

- Warranty and Safety

Guard Dog Moly Lubricants, Inc. warrants GD-452 to conform to
published typical observations. Most containers have a child
resistant cap. GD-452 is safe to use when normal precautions are taken,
as with any petroleum product. A Material Safety Data Sheet is available
upon request.
