GD-451
MP Moly Treatment for Engine Oils
Includes Synthetic
Applications

GD-451 MP Moly Treatment for Engine Oils is a multipurpose treatment for all grades of oils, mineral and synthetic, for gasoline internal combustion engines. Examples are automobiles, trucks, generators, industrial machinery, boats, lawn mowers, and motorcycles. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR MOTORCYCLE ENGINES THAT COMBINE CRANKCASE AND TRANSMISSION OILS.

Benefits

GD-451 MP Moly Treatment for Engine Oils imparts the benefits of moly into plain engine oil.

Moly lowers friction and wear by reducing metal-to-metal contact. The way moly works is especially beneficial in the prevention of "dry starts", where most of wear in cylinders takes place. Lower friction and wear provide many benefits in engine oil:

  • helps to improve gas mileage to save money
  • helps to increase horsepower to provide better acceleration
  • helps to lower operating temperature of the engine to reduce heat stress on parts.

Typical Observations

GD-451 MP Moly Treatment for Engine Oils is a proprietary formula of molybdenum compounds and SAE 10W-30 weight mineral oil. GD-451 does not contain solvents or chlorinated paraffins.

Tests: ASTM* D 4172 Modified. "Before and after" tests of Brand B SAE 10W-30 plain motor oil and the same motor oil after treatment with GD-451
Results: GD-451 has reduced wear 73%. The "load carrying capability" of the oil has increased 92%.
