GD-421
Moly Treatment for SAE 75W-90
Synthetic Gear Oil
Applications

GD-421 Moly Treatment for SAE 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Oil is a multipurpose treatment for all grades of synthetic gear oils, including multi-viscosity gear oils. NOT RECOMMENDED TO BE ADDED TO OILS WITH LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIALS AND WET CLUTCHES.

Benefits

GD-421 is a premium treatment.

Molybdenum Disulfide "moly": is a solid lubricant with low coefficient of friction and an affinity for steel. The moly decreases friction of the two counter-moving sliding surfaces of gear teeth by filling in microscopic pores and metal surfaces and plating out over the surface. Guard Dog lessens metal-to-metal contact to reduce friction and wear. The moly will not settle out, and it will flow through all standard filters.

Motorcycles: improves shifting and reduces noise.

Typical Observations

GD-421 is a proprietary formula of a SAE 75W-90 synthetic gear oil with moly. The blend is formulated to yield a high percent of moly in a plain synthetic gear oil when mixed according to instructions.

Tests: ASTM* D 4172 Modified to 100°C and 8 hours. "Before and after" tests of Brand B 75W-90 plain synthetic gear oil and the same gear oil after treated with GD-421.
Results GD-421 has reduced wear 30%. The "load carrying capability" of the oil has increased over 100%.
